Under His Wings

He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psalm 91:4

Speaker

Sue McLain is the wife of Dr. Charles McLain, Dean at Calvary Baptist Seminary of Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Sue has worked in ministry at Calvary Baptist Ministries for over 30 years,
first as a teacher in the Day School, then receptionist in the church office, and now
currently working full-time as the Ladies Counselor.

Sue has been married to Chuck for 44 years and they have three married children and
are enjoying their 9 grandchildren. They love to spend time together and do enjoy
traveling when they have an opportunity. For down time she likes to do some scrap-
booking , loves to cook, spend time with family, and enjoys a good chic flick. She says
she is young enough to enjoy life and old enough to not remember to push it too far.
Because of her desire to search out the topic “Who God is”, she has been both blessed
and challenged and would like to share with you this weekend some of those truths
she has learned through the study of Psalm 91.

Work Shop Speaker

Elena Shackleton was born and raised in South Jersey. She studied at The Barn
Studio of Art at seven and became an apprentice at the age of 10. She went on to
attend the PA Academy of Fine Arts and during her second year she was saved. In
1990, she joined CBC where she met her husband, Herb. They have two children,
Aune (21) and Trey (16). Her work has been influenced by many. She loves teaching
art and did this for many years but she also enjoys using her gifts and training to
serve the Lord. El has given countless hours and created one masterpiece after another
within the ministry of Camp Calvary. Service is a passion for her and has allowed Elena
the flexibility to produce art, graphics, and illustrations for many different ministries and clients. She has just entered a new phase in life with freedom to explore her art and technique. The recent years have been a battle with cancer. Time is precious and she
is working toward defeating the physical while looking forward with great anticipation
to see where I will be led.
